Océ paper originates from renewable forests, sawdust and forest thinning waste. Most of these papers originate from the Scandinavian countries and carry their own certification label, Nordic Swan. Since 2006 Océ has also supplied paper under the Forest Stewardship Council [FSC] label, which means that all links in the production and converting chain have been certified according to Chain of Custody certification.

Regarding recycled paper, Océ Imaging Supplies stocks a wide range of papers, including a bright white quality that is indistinguishable from non-recycled paper. Also in wide format, Océ supplies a full line of high quality recycled paper, among other things for its new printer Océ ColorWave 600.

Océ Imaging Supplies has introduced a Paper Sustainability Program focusing on three areas:

• Using recycled paper
• Reducing paper usage in packaging
