Copy Press technology
While most other printing technologies use multiple corona units (high-voltage chargers that generate ozone as a side effect), Océ Copy Press technology has only one corona unit. This corona unit uses recirculation and a filter that almost entirely prevents ozone escape. Ozone emissions are less than 1/100th of the level specified by the most stringent legislation. The Océ technology uses offset-like toner transfer with unique monocomponent toner, which leads to 100% toner efficiency and virtually eliminates toner particle emissions.
